Re: Are Bypass Capacitors REALLY needed?
I dunno about you guys but I find myself editing on the fly (L to fast forward 10 seconds on YT) just to get past a lot of spiel that's not needed, or to bypass repetitive stuff. Also the Wadsworth consonant is real. If it's someone I like listening to, say big clive or ave, I'll happily sit and lis...

Re: 1040 STF rolling screen
If you can, grab an Automation Disc (A_001 Onwards), and see if switching the frequency helps. 50 / 60hz is a bit of an issue, and seeing as you didn't mention where you are from, regionally, this could be a legitimate cause of the screen rolling.

Re: Are Bypass Capacitors REALLY needed?
His vids are always gonna be controversial, if I wanna watch one of his vids, I rip it, then drop the audio by an octave lol. He's a bit anal at times, but not as bad as that Carlson guy, man is he verbose.

Re: FOR SALE - MARPET BOXED NEW UK
Is the only difference in this and the standard version the SIMM type? Mine has the same model board MP210A (1992) but the SIMMs are SIP socketed. I'd be interested to read the manual.

What are you talking about? Summer is the best day of the year...I don't think we get enough UV from the sun in the UK for any of this to work.

Re: Recapping floppy drives
GadgetUK on that there Youtube has done a few vids on floppy drives in general, he explains a lot and has been successful on many occasions. Might be helpful in general in addition to Exxos's thread.
