First two H5 B1 boards have been successfully booted to TOS after the build photos below were taken. AU01 board: IMG_5967.JPG AU02 board: IMG_5966.JPG I have pretty much finished populating AU02 board since the photo above was taken, with the exception of the ACSI internal headers, the 16mhz OSC for...

Re: kodak80 blog
My latest boards arrived yesterday from PCBWay based on this revision: MT-32v2.5-I2C-OLED-full-buttons-routed(PCBWay)-top.png I have re-organised the layout of my hat to fit the buttons and rotary header. The OLED and rotary headers on the left are to allow having these mounted on a separate board w...

kodak80 x3 H5 B1
Having hit problems with the A3 board reset, I figured it would be better to build these first and get them working so I have started to assemble the components onto the three B1 boards. Will see how these go.

Re: kodak80 H5 A3 builds
I have put aside the A3 board for now and started to build my three B1 boards up.
I have a question regarding SMD resistor network (RN) components. Does the orientation of SMD RN on the H5 boards matter?

Re: kodak80 H5 A3 builds
IC22 was soldered in as shown previously which was confirmed as the correct orientation: https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/download/file.php?id=15655 and yes, have the Flashy socket jumpered: flashy-jumper.jpg Was also wondering if I had not cut the track under IC6 properly and this was still conne...

H5 A3 board #1 powered on with diagROM in socket... Reset switch does not seem to cause board to reset. Switch itself is working (5v/0v) but board shows no sign of reset. Output to screen is a white screen. I did get DiagROM to boot once and show the menu so I had life once and reset switch seemed t...

... so far the shifter is proving to be the trickiest to source so I may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice at least one of the other potential RIP boards to let me prove the functionality. There is someone here in Australia selling shifter ICs: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PH23-024-C025914-38A-A...
