Re: The resurrection of atari-wiki.com

I tried search for an existing tool but failed, although I'm very certain such tools exist.

Creating a script to curl the mainpage and then all linked internal pages in a tree, comparing some value, isn't that difficult. I could do it, although reinventing the wheel should always be avoided :/

Re: The resurrection of atari-wiki.com

Agree, the text not displaying correctly and that error message sounds like it. However, you might want to do the same patch as this to make sure it's not a different error altogether where the error message itself causes the malformed characters:

Re: The resurrection of atari-wiki.com

No worries - I'm sure it's solvable. There's plenty of us here ready to step in so you don't need to feel all the burden on getting it to work is on you.

Re: Wiki dead links

Sounds good! I propose making a quick edit saying "editing" on top of a page we're currently working on so others know not to touch it. It will cause an extra revision in the history of the page but I don't think that's an issue.

Re: Wiki dead links

dev-docs doesn't allow directly linking to files anymore - everything has to be changed to link to the search-box instead.

Good enough - when we stumble upon such a page let's just copy back from Waybackmachine.

Re: ST Hardware Overscan

I believe cheap version is to cut DE, connect composite to it, and then run Overscan or Lacescan. And yeah, you'd need a hardware-switch to control when to be in fullscreen and when not to.

Re: The resurrection of atari-wiki.com

I'm going to guess it's all io_wait. I think @chronicthehedgehog is on the right track regarding indexes. I'm guessing there's some immutable lock on each update.

Re: The resurrection of atari-wiki.com

What's the database engine? MySQL? If so there must be something wrong with the way the deletion is done
