Re: TF536 Bugs
This is one of the reasons why I don't sell the stuff I've made. It's really sad that the minority ruins for the majority, but this seems to be common these days (cancel culture, hate speech etc.). Only reason why I've asked questions here is to try to learn how stuff works, and maybe I can make my ...

Re: Expansion Area $E00000 and TF536
In your github page you write " while the original 68000 CPU and Kickstart ROM still are socketed inside the Amiga ". How do you disable the internal 68000 and especially the E-Clock signal it generates? If I understood correctly /HLT does not suppress the E-clock generation. Disabling CP...

Hey Michael!nospam2000 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:04 am I'm building an Amiga Turbocard relocator board for the A1000/A500 expansion bus.
I've done a similar project and I've got it working on the A1000/A500/A2000. Only modification I had to do was wiring 7MHz to expansion port pin 7.

Re: Cards failing on Chip memory test
Been trying older firmwares without vail, so must be a hardware issue.
Got other great news, though. With the firmware dated 01.aug.20 I got my card working on my A1000 with my expansion slot adapter
Edit: Got it working even better with the 02.08.20-firmware.

Re: Cards failing on Chip memory test
Swapping CPUs didn't help, but I'm suspecting the problem lies with one or more socket pins not getting proper connection.

Re: Cards failing on Chip memory test
The tests have been done both from floppy and HDD, I'm afraid.
I will try swapping CPUs from my working cards to see if it changes.
Will try older firmware too just for the sake of it.
Thanks so far

Re: Cards failing on Chip memory test
After a more thorough test it seems that this is still a problem. More precisely on my A500+ only. The memory test in the 00000000 - 001FFFFF fails around round 30-40. Turrican II and Settlers crash after about 15-25 minutes. On my A500 with rev.6A motherboard with (and without) 1 MB CHIP RAM mod ru...

Re: Cards failing on Chip memory test
I found the culprits.
I swapped U5 and U6 to see if the fault moved accordingly. Both cards are working better now. Their solder pads most likely was in dire need of a re-flow.

Re: TF536 boot problem
The Power LED going bright is a good thing. This means that CPU is most likely OK.
And if I'm not mistaken the ROM has also passed the checksum check.
Seems to me that the card is trying hard to boot from HDD/CF(?). Have you cleaned the pads with IPA, making sure there are no possible dirty bridges?
