Sorry to hear that. Looks like this seller guaranty is worthless. I assume you tried contacting eBay/ PayPal?

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

I look at it this way. Everything that is manufactured will have some rate of defect. Even if you buy new from an original manufacturer, there will be defects. So how does a buyer deal with this? I look at the seller, and make sure that they are willing to back up their product. In this case (from m...

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

Not a large sample size, but I purchased 2 from this eBay listing: https://ebay.us/xy2qW2 Both were tested and ran at 40 mhz. Using a temperature gun, I measured one of the processors in an open A500 (no top) running Frontier, and it ran at 40 C. Later on I burned in that processor by running the Fr...

Re: bare minimum components

I think there is a bug in Diagrom with the RAM detection - mine shows more than 4 MB as well. I would put in a Kickstart ROM and try to boot it.

Re: bare minimum components

I don't think the IDE needs to be on. Sounds like yours is off, so the black screen issue is being caused somewhere else.

Re: bare minimum components

A black screen can be caused by having the IDE cable on backwards. If you have yours on, try reversing it.

INT2 Signal on TF 534 Board

I understand that the TF 534 does not need the INT 2 signal from the A500. Is there a reason why INT 2 is on the board? I ask only because I previously had a TF 530 in my Amiga, and can wire the INT 2 signal to the 534 if it would provide any benefit.

Re: Chue's TF534 Build

It's mostly finished, just missing the SPI flash.

Final Specs:

68EC030 (RP40B) CPU
68882 (FN40A) FPU
40 mhz clock
4 MB of RAM
4 GB CF card

Here is some TF 534 eye candy:

Re: Latest TF534 is here

Thanks, I will order that next time I need something from Digikey. The BOM was quite useful, just a couple of mistakes on there.

Attached is an updated BOM, which has fixes for the 0.1 uF caps and the SPI Flash
