I believe that the connection to SCART needs a little bit of 12V so that the TV knows that there is a device connected. It's pin 8 of the video port.

Finally finished to build a small batch of my adapter pcb to use a power brick to power a ST :
Next step is to test them and see how much are OK. Then I plan to sell some of them.
