Re: Dead TT030
Since you are getting nothing from the known-good diag cart setup, you should probably start working through the TT030 Service Manual , starting with section 3.2, " Troubleshooting a Dead Unit ". Some of the testing there unfortunately requires an oscilloscope, but some of it you can do wi...

Re: STE - 4 Bombs on Start Up
Does it only ever mean that on the STE? I dug out my Hxc but that's giving me the exact same result, though I guess it could be the cable that's the problem if it's definitely the drive. It's not specifically an STE thing, but a TOS version thing. However, the HxC is a perfectly acceptable substitu...

Re: Strange burning hole on my STF...
A continuity test shows that there is no shortcut with the 2 ground pads just under. Rather than just a yes/no, what is the actual measured conductivity between this pad and ground? Might be good for someone to compare this to a non-flaming board. You might have a high enough resistance that a digi...

Re: Turning on STacy only 2 times out of 10 does it start.
@exxos ,you told me some time ago (or maybe someone else, I don't remember) that putting a 68HC000 or a 68000 in a STacy would be the same thing. If someone can confirm I would try to buy a 68000 here from the exxos site in order to dispel this doubt. The Stacy came from the factory with a 68HC000....

Re: Falcon 030 3-in-1 monitor adapter
CT63 does not by default accelerate the Falcon bus. It's got the necessary pads to add on bus acceleration hardware, and doing so requires some surgery on the Falcon motherboard as well, but in stock plug-and-play configuration the motherboard bus is untouched.

Re: My fight against Outlook.com email blocking
Odd. No idea why its trying to use a invalid address to start with. @derkom does your server do the same ? You've probably got the MTA-STS checkbox checked in the "more options" section before running the test. That is not likely to be related to any problems you've got. However, I'm curi...
