Re: STFM case remake

Very interesting, I wonder if a smaller experiment could be carried out using this technique with something like an STM1 mouse case, or the ST keycaps? If ST mice cases could be produced using this method, then combined with the more recent laser mouse mod, you could produce new ST style laser mice....

Re: Ordering the Alpha board

Mr. Mike K, admin from STOS Coders fb group here. Just got on-board this (accidental pun there) and made a pre-order :)

Re: Atari ST Floppy Adapter

This looks nice and tidy! :) In theory, would you be able to connect up a CosmosEx externally using this adapter design, if you do a Drive A/B switch mod to your ST or STE? Power would be provided via a phone charger, which is what I use currently to get a decent current from instead of my STE board...

Re: Suska board

I'll second that :) so cool to see this happening, much of what Chris wants to achieve very much echoes what I would have wanted to see within a new ST motherboard too. But this time, hopefully a really rock solid piece of engineering!

Re: When is a ST not a ST anymore ?

I'd thought of getting a Suska at one point years ago too, but it is quite a bit of money without knowing if it really does live up it's claim. Some more thoughts on this. An ST is perhaps not an ST when it is based on an FPGA CPU capable of emulating 50 other cores. That's something else I was thin...

Re: When is a ST not a ST anymore ?

I do like the idea of producing a hybrid, to open up the gateway for exploring new possibilities and to ensure that you can futureproof the availability of parts. New resolutions sounds great, a decent speed boost sounds good for games that could do with it, also graphics and music software, etc. Ke...

Re: STOS EXTENSIONS

I am currently having a play with the Missing Link STOS extension, gradually learning how to use it. I noticed when I try to run the Font editor which comes with it (FONTED.BAS), I end up with an error and STOS says there is an extension missing in line 790 (extension #M). When I try to compile the ...

Re: NEW STOS & COMPILER V300 ST/STE VERSION

Hi Chris, a quick question re. running STOS in an emulator. I recall a few years back running into a couple of problems where sprites weren't quite behaving correctly once I ran my code (I remember they just didn't behave the same way as they would on a real ST). So far what is the best emulator and...
