Re: AtariAge forum down ?
Oh there is a post on homepage.. If you're trying to reach the AtariAge Forums, you'll likely see a warning in your web browser about an invalid SSL certificate. Unfortunately, the company that hosts the forum allowed the SSL certificate to expire, resulting in this issue. If your web browser will a...

Re: Atari 2600+ preorder
I can't even use most joysticks anymore as hurts my hands. The only one I can remotely use is "the bug". I tried to use the 2600 stick a few years back and thought nope..I remember it being iffy from new.

Re: Atari 2600+ preorder
Oh, so you were a rather late adopter. I bought my first 600XL on 1984! Shame on you and more respect for the veterans! :) :) Well, I was still at school at the time and assume I was about 14 when I got the 2600. Saved like mad to buy my first STFM afterwards. Couldn't afford many games even back t...

Re: AtariAge acquired by Atari. Wow
I doubt Atari will make any ST compatible hardware, what I would buy the instant it came out would be a modern mini x86 PC in a smaller MegaSTE / TT styled case, you could run any emulators you want on it. It will never happen but it would be awesome. Someone was designing a MSTE case not long ago....

Re: Atari 2600+ preorder
Yeah it's a emulator in a 2600 box. I'm not a fan of such tech but it's just a bit of fun.
Though I do find some poetry in the 2600 as it's now my first and last Atari I've bought
1990 bought a new Atari 2600
2023 bought a new Atari 2600

Re: AtariAge acquired by Atari. Wow
Slightly off topic , but while on the subject of AA, has anyone noticed a "bug" on the AA forum ?
I don't know if it is a Chrome bug or not..
Basically if you skip ahead to page 29 for example then refresh the page, the last two posts or more "vanish"

Re: AtariAge acquired by Atari. Wow
@exxos Maybe have a chat with the guy? They may well go for the H5 concept (unfortunately, with perhaps the obvious required re-brand to Atari). You never know, they may well pony up for the enhancements you planned for too. It may be good for someone in the Atari community here to chat to this guy...

Re: AtariAge acquired by Atari. Wow
One thing that I think would be a very big enhancement for the ST range (although not sure how hard it would be to design/integrate/build) is some sort of COPPER chip. I havent really had time to look deeply into the Amiga coppers true capabilities, but from what little I can glean from the chances...
