BTW, do you have a THOMSON computer in all your collection ?
I don't, no. I don't feel compelled to get one either, at least not like some other machines.

Re: A Grand Day Out

OK, so it looks like the PSU for my old Macbook Pro that I use on my workbench is mostly responsible. Will need to see if I still have a spare and if it's as bad.

Re: A Grand Day Out

@rubber_jonnie my desk magnifier interferes with the Scope signals, I need to take it to bits and work out why but just never get round to it. Re: A Grand Day Out

HigashiJun stephen_usher was correct, I just got a TRS-80 Color Computer... Personally I blame Icky for sending me some Coco books :) Also, weirdly I'm having some 'scope fun and games, found out trying to look at the test points on the MZ-700 at lunchtime. This pic covers both scopes, my Owon unit...

Re: PhilCs blog / the latest things hes broken(fixed)

Another quick update. The Open128 board is now fitted inside the C128D and the only real problem I've found is the alignment of the modulator ports. In my case I have replaced the modulator with an S-Video and Stereo Jack board but I'll have to tweak the case holes slightly so I can actually use th...

Re: A Grand Day Out

Well thats a bit weird. The MZ-700 has a great service manual, puts others to shame and gives these waveforms and tells you the test points to look for them: Screenshot 2024-02-09 at 00.00.32.png Said test points can be found here on the schematic: Screenshot 2024-02-09 at 00.02.02.png And the PCB h...
