Re: Flashy clock buyers interests
In which case, how about your older 16MHz accelerators (v1 or v1.5 etc.)? And I was trying to avoid that discussion as well  But it is a similar problem. Is there any use in spending time on that series making it work with flashy when there is the DSTB1 in active development for people which i...

Re: Flashy clock buyers interests
The one booster which is guaranteed to work with those will be the SEC booster? If so, that's fine too! I think any booster can be made to work, but its getting into multiple variations of similar stuff. When the market is sub 10pcs sold on any one project, it's not really worth doing everything. I...

Re: Flashy clock buyers interests
As to with/without RAM, that basically depends on what it would work with (I mean if there was a TF536 installed, would they both work...or if it has the TOS 2.06 decoder/accelerator or even a DSTB1 etc.) Kinda a whole bucket of problems for another day those.. Problem is the TF536 isn't a official...

I think there's a few like rapid, ESR, Cricklewood etc...dotted about but only odd shops.stephen_usher wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 8:52 pm I don't know of any retail electronic component shops any more, with both Maplin and Tandy gone.

Re: Resurrecting a SF314
I have seen that problem many times. I think the bottom line is that heads are likely out of alignment on the drive. I don't think this is really fixable though unfortunately.
I kind of got tired of those problems. So these days I use a MPF920 on my PC and ST to ensure things actually work.
