Re: exxos blog - random goings on
RTFM certainly helps. Quoting the README: Three large random tables are used. One provides unit double precision values in the range (-1.0 -> +1.0), another raises unit random values to 2^+/-N where N is a random in the range (-128 -> +127), another uses pure random binary data which may inclu...

Re: UltraSatan SD Card file corruption.
Have you tried the Hitachi 68k cpu. They all appear to be cmos architecture even the hc sieres. While the Motorola CPU is cmos on the non Hc and hcmos on there hc parts Just for the record: For 68000 (non-HC) Motorola did not use a CMOS process, but NMOS. Same goes for Hitachi's 68000: NMOS, not CM...

Re: What upgrades to STfm and which MIDI sequencers to try
I see there is a thing called a Lightning ST and Cloudy. I tried emailing the guy about it but the email address didn't work... What did you mean by "didn't work"? Did you get a bounce / error message? Or didn't you just get a reply, yet? In any case, I'm one of the developers of the Ligh...

Re: TF536/68000 switching
@czietz doesn't that assume the 68000 is plugged ontop of the pak ? Things could get more of a problem when the CPU is on the motherboard. In case of the PAK, the 68000 is in indeed on top. But the three signals I mentioned are the only ones that are not connected straight through. Thus, (without t...

Re: TF536/68000 switching
The venerable PAK/2 accelerator (1990 vintage) already had the capability to switch between accelerated CPU (68020) and 68000. For that, it had to switch three CPU signals: BR, BG, and E. This article is in German but Google Translate and the GAL equations should give you the required information: h...

Re: Cartridge keys and emulation
@djhardrich, @Tomswork: Thank you very much. I have forwarded your offer to the EmuTOS developers mailing list. Hopefully, one of my fellow developers will have the time to investigate.
