Re: STE Dual TOS switcher widget
If exxos likes it, we may see it as an official feature of his future tos switcher revisions....

Re: STE with mods
I go by my nickname Maeke here. Most don't know who Thibaut is.
Btw for someone who wasn't so sure about his skills at first, you certainly did a nice job.

Re: Atari Mainboard revisions
indeed the stfm is an interesting board.
As for the ste only the post 91 ones had an ajax from factory, yours is too old (89-90).
Looking back, not far, it's a really early 91 (sixth week) before the revision when the blitter was integrated in another ic.

Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS
With all the troubles I have had with the PLCC sockets, I thought about just soldering the CPU direct to the PCB.. But really the CPU was smaller it could fit above the dip CPU.. Same with the PLD..I have been wanting to move to the SEC CPU for a long time now, so I think now is the ideal time to i...

Re: ST RTC EXTERNAL BETA - WIP
Would it be possible to put the EEPROM on the board which would contain the drivers/accessory for the RTC? If you mean the tos, nop. I don't see exxos doing this because his boosters work with theyr own sets of tos eeprom, the tos needs to be boosted too. And if the rtc has been made this way, it's...

Re: V2.6 under design.
This also means you'll have to use smt cpu, and thus probably sell the boosters with cpu presoldered as not everyone is skillfull enough to do it or have appropriate tools.

C070789- rev D - french 1040 STF
I'll reply with my own c070789- rev D, but from a french 1040 STF (TOS 1.02 fr when received, not yet upgraded). P1000547.JPG Then i'll add my '91 STE, yep no RF modulators on french STEs. In this one the blitter is integrated, the floppy controller is an AJAX, and it has the so-called "good DM...

Re: STFM case remake
if it's an FDM printer, then supports are indeed needed. With a stereo lithography printer, probably no supports or only minimal. A powder printer: well it's support all the way, so basically no supports :-) In a year's time I may have access to such a powder printer. We're trying to keep it at rea...
