Re: ACSI2STM problems
I can see, that you are using a micro-SD breakout board, with a TTL-level converter. This converter is not needed here, as both the SD card and BluePill are using 3.3V logic.

Re: ACSI2STM problems
It sees the card, but the current firmware does not support a built-in ACSI driver, instead, it has a Gemdrive driver. Both boot jumpers need to be set to 0 position, to run Gemdrive mode.

Re: ACSI2STM problems
I'm powering the device from a 3.3v serial device so that I can monitor the serial port of the device. You really need to power it from 5V and do not connect USB port on the Bluepill to anything. There is a 5V to 3.3V level converter on the board, and it requires 5V to be able to communicate with t...

Re: Airplane Question that Drove Me NUTS!!! - Electroboom
You don't get it... it is simple. You have fixed on the wheels, while they are completely irrelevant. Plane wheels roll free on the ground. The airplane is not powered by its wheels, it doesn't care about the ground speed, but only airspeed. Engine trust moves it forward, the conveyor belt moving ba...

I have no comparison with PCB-Way because I only ordered from JLCPCB and never had any problems. You may also try OSH Park.

Re: Bulk capacitor burning in
The electrolyte used in capacitors is conductive, if it managed to soak into the PCB it made it conductive. Also, even slightly charcoaled PCB becomes electro-conductive. The PCB needs to be flushed from the electrolyte and any burned parts of it need to be removed. Also, you should protect the clea...

Not even overheating. I've recently encountered a few Antics and GTIAs, and one Sally, which were not overheating, but were crashing over 25-30°C, yet while kept below 10°C they were working fine.
