I have the same model and I agree.

Re: Atari STE v1 BOOSTER ic2 burned

Capacitor retired and resistor changed for a SMD 100R (less value I have in SMS 0805), and now the Blitter works well! :D Official diagnostic cartridge Blitter test is PASS! Congratulations! That's a nicely performed step by step implementation of likely solutions resulting in success :D /Troed

Re: STFM case remake

just realized that the recommended print temperature is pretty high for PLA. I had printed this PLA with around 200 C so far and had no issues, but I might give it a try with a higher temperature in the future. What temperature did you go with? Yeah the label states 240-260 and I printed with 240 I...

Re: STFM case remake

Well, there definitely is a green tinge absent in the Ataris. But it's close. Esp. for being off-the-shelf.

Re: STFM case remake

I thought it was "stone grey" is was determined some years ago ? I think we know what Atari called it, but not the actual color code. This being a filament available to buy off the shelf that seems as close in hue as the color codes I managed to dig up :) Will print a Greaseweazle case wi...

Re: STFM case remake

Got a reply over at A-F to an old thread of mine regarding ST case color. Turns out the filament maker is local to me.

I'm expecting it to be even closer to the Mega STE, but in any case I'd say this is indeed "good enough"

This means that you have different memory errors in different banks - which unfortunately is an indicator that there's more than one fault to find.

Re: Troed's H4 build

Replaced my original Atari Falcon 4MB board with the SIMM holder and 60ns SIMM. The original memory would have no chance at 16MHz.

Also got my Ricoh RTC chips (same as Mega ST). Will start looking into schematics to fit it to the H4 with GAL decoding for the address etc.
