Hi all, has anyone ever dropped a ST(M) keyboard into a MegaST keyboard housing? I have a UK ST KB that I want to drop into a US Mega case. It seems to fit and it looks like I just need to extend the internal cable?

Well, two PSU's recapped. A DXE and a Mitsumi, the Mitsumi caps were rooted and took a pretty massive clean up. That was a real eye opener. On the plus side, the desolder gun made VERY short work of it. Gotta be happy with that.

They exist, I picked one up for $40 from Sydney last year. I half hope I don't fix my second Mega so I don't have to look for another keyboard.

I'm trying to resist the urge due to the amount of projects already on the boil..... I usually overwhelm myself. I have plenty of FM's that could benefit from an IDE setup. I must confess, the machine I use the most is probably my MegaSTE, so I'd give my last sheckle for a solution for that.

Well, silly me. Dragged all the STFM's out of the cupboard. Now I have a massive recapping job on my hands. The DIAG cart throws nothing up for the Mega's, so now the hard work begins. On a nicer note, the FM's all get a clean bill of health, even the hacked one :-) Its been a busy week desoldering ...

Yes please, I need (want) TOS 2.06 and IDE for a MegaST or two and this would be ideal.
