Re: TF536 alive; what OS version on an A600?
Have tried: Kickstart 37.350 (A600); found a Workbench 2.05 set (four disks). It boots OK will not install; doesn't like my hard drive, I think it is looking for the 40MB original. No WB 3.1 will install of course it detects the kickstart version is wrong. Kickstart 40.063 (A500); Will not boot with...

TF536 alive; what OS version on an A600?
Finally after replacing the four buffer chips below the RAM 64M of memory is detected and tests OK. IMG_0030.jpeg I have a flash module on the IDE connector with 3.1.4 installed; without the TF536 installed (and with 3.1.4 ROM installed) it boots to workbench. With TF536, no boot :-( With the mask-p...

Re: TF536 doesn't _quite_ boot
Finally I'm getting back to the TF536. I made a new riser from Lemaru's design on github, sanded down a new Augat PLCC socket, plugged in my 68030... and blow me down, DiagROM booted! 68030 success! 2M chip RAM scan is just fine. Fast RAM tests fail instantly, though I did buy and fit new RAM and af...

Re: TF1230 Arrives (@Chuckys)
Beautiful and simple - I feel like one of these could retire my ancient Microbotics 1230XA.

Re: Starting to build my TF536
Oh no, I thought I was the only idiot to install the RAM backwards! At least you have good equipment to fix that.

Re: TF1260 stuff
I really wish I had a TF1260 - one of the first things I'd be doing is designing and printing a fan mount. There's not a lot of room between the accelerator and the keyboard but there is in other places. A mount that includes a duct allowing the fan to be mounted in available space while directing a...

Re: My Amiga 1200 Case Project(s)
You can put together a pretty good Amiga keyboard ordering a set, and then a lot of individual keys from Signature Plastics, if you have a keyboard using Cherry MX switches. Here's my A600. The only key you can't match is "Help". Cost was maybe US$180.

Re: I found a G4 Mac (Installed MorphOS)
Nice - what G4 mini do you have? There was a "secret" upgrade toward the end of the G4 mini's life. Instead of 1.42GHz the CPU was 1.5GHz, but the bigger upgrade was 128MB graphics instead of 64MB. This shows up in system information but not is not printed on the box. You can also run OS 9...
