PS: 8MHz mode also works with TOS 1.06 You mean 206 ? Sounds like there maybe a problem with the 16MHz line. You need to put the scope on the booster GAL pin 1 and check signal is good. No I mean TOS104 (sorry for the typo)! So I can boot in 16MHz + 8MHz mode to TOS104 and never to TOS206!

Not that time, only when the progress bar has finished! The only thing which happens next is it tries to boot from floppy drive. With no disk in, it should goto desktop as normal after about 40 seconds. -> 4 bombs appears after the progress bar and not the desktop (see other screenshot from my firs...

I will also test 16MHz on booster PCB tomorrow when I have a scope for that!

OK, all Pins are cleaned with IPA and I also did some tests with the PSU: 5V Line:(*) V02aFab.png 5V + 12V Line:(*) 0epQexv.png (*) under load It looks good to me or what do you think?! I also measured the voltage on floppy drive: 11.96V + 5.04V -> maybe the motor of the drive has some issues?!

Maybe a stupid question but how can I switch to 8MHz mode if both wires are connected? (16+8MHz cables) Did you follow the install guide on my site when you fitted the booster ? Its explained there ( Grey wire on images) which is the "mode select" wire between 8MHz & 16MHz.... In fact...

It's the same behavior with or without disk! If I disconnect the keyboard the 4 bombs appears immediately but no problem with TOS 1.04! Do you really think there are issues with the contacts or wire lengths? (I would expect same manner with TOS 1.04) My 8MHz cable is not connected at the moment beca...
