Re: David's ST Graphics Card v0.2
How hard would a 8 bit CLUT colour index be to implement? Is there a functional difference between a CLUT and a palette? I had always assumed them to be different names for the same thing, to be honest. BW It may be my bad naming :D but for example, there are 16 colour 'indexes' on a STFM/STe and t...

Re: David's ST Graphics Card v0.2
How hard would a 8 bit CLUT colour index be to implement? I will have to look back at my TT high colour code, but certainly having 256 colour indexes (even if the palette range is 12bit) can certainly make a big difference. I was chucking some fairly high colour content images at my routines and the...

Re: Possible (long term) solution for ST/TT ISA GFX card?
@Badwolf Putting this in a ST536 based machine would be very interesting I think. I may have a go at a version two. I'll do another post and solicit ideas. BW Please do. :) does ST536 have expansion connector? Not that Im aware of. Looking at *all* possibilities though, perhaps the IDE HDD interfac...

Re: Items for sale at Cyber Legends V2

Heres an advert from 1975 to save me writing up the info: MS-2_1975.jpg It needs some TLC, but is basically sound. Top cover is missing and the stylus/cart. Comes with the pictured new ...

Re: PiStorm Chat
I always thought they were classed as the same thing in Atari-land. But I do understand alt-ram works in the standard ST 68k address space (limiting it to like 6-8mb?) And TT RAM is in 32but address space with infinitely more available. Its also faster, as its not the system bus speed but the boost...

Re: General Stuff(tm)
To be honest, I just used a PPera drive image on its own for games on the F030.
It (the PPera HDD driver) didnt seem to work very welll with anything else.
