Re: St cartridge connector
There was a group buy on the German Atari forum this spring if I recall correctly. From BEST. He had both new and used.
I also recall that someone had an idea how to make/buy something new. But it all came down to price from BEST since the other solution also would cost a bit.

Re: At-once 386sx DIP64 searching and restoring project
Are you asking for possible sources of a DIP package 386sx IC? If so - not sure you will find any. This was a 100 pin quad flatpack (SMT) and very short life in the market. Nope, he is asking for the Vortex card with DIP connection and not the plcc connector. There was two models. The DIP connector...

Troed did this on his 103175. Similar on a Mega 1 board but you have more room there.

Looks like 0805. Measured pad sizes in gerbview in KiCad. Compared it against recommended solder pad dimensions for different smd sizes. 0805 seems to be the closest to it.

Yup. It should be the end nearest the MMU-chip. R60-R61 is enough.rubber_jonnie wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 8:49 pm Pretty sure it's the wrong side of the resistors you've tied to 5v.
I'd start by looking there and switching them around.
Pretty sure it's just those three.

Re: DFB1 Support thread
I have a question only indirectly related to DFB1. A friend sent me a faulty falcon motherboard. To my surprise, the board came to life when I inserted one of my DFB1 cards into it. (the board itself or equipped with CT63 generates only colored stripes and patterns on the screen) The question is wh...
