I don't know if you still need it, but I have a lower STE case laying around, it is a bit yellowed and missing the manufacture sticker, but it is fully intact.

I have a full STE case lying about, it is not in terrific shape. The lower part of the case is in reasonable condition, bit yellowed but intact. The top part however has a nasty cut where the floppydrive used to be, it's also a 520STFM top case.....

I have joined the club too, I saw one IDE board listed in the store and decided to buy it. So, now have to wait for stuff to arrive, then solder it up and start cracking.

I have used the modulator as a base, I used double sided tacky tape to mount it on the modulator. Works nicely and the tacky tape works perfect as isolation.
