Re: Building new Amigas, chip availabilities

For A4000 chipsets contact Screemo on Amibay. https://www.amibay.com/forum/want-to-sell/hardware-for-sale/amiga/114904-a1200-and-a4000d-chipsets For A1200 / A500 / A500+ builds it would probably be more efficient to buy a working machine from eBay to get what you need. I know that is sacrilege to so...

Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)

[ Both work with the TF1230?: XC95144XL-10TQG144I XC95144XL-10TQ144I Only use XC95144XL-10TQG144I the other one has a smaller footprint, I.E it is smaller ;) Mark, is this correct? Both are the same Thin Quad Flat Pack 144 pin, as far as I am aware the G just indicates that it is certified lead fre...

With the exception of those sealed PSUs, and the nasty lid hinge design, that's the truth! :lol:

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

I'm no expert, but the orientation looks good to me!

Check all your ZIF pins for bridges, some look a little rough.

See marked locations on image.

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

If you are ordering the adapter PCBs from JLCPCB then upload the Gerber zip archive attached above to their quote page and select the following settings:

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

Hi Geordi, It would probably be faster and cheaper to get the PCBs, ZIF sockets and 2.54mm pitch header pins from China than the postage for a single built adapter. The Gerbers for the adapter are here: MC27C1000_Converter_V2.zip The Zif sockets are here : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32985707354...

Re: TF330, IDE SSD vs. CF Card

It does fit the 330 and functions correctly but the current design is too layout specific. I have a better* generic in-cable design on the way that should work with everything**. It will be here in the new year, try that instead.

* might not be better.
** might not work with anything.

Re: Meanwell

I have a large number of original Amiga PSUs that when used with accelerated Amigas give differing levels of performance and occasionally strange behaviour. I looked into recapping but as some of you know there are several different PSU case shell designs with even more internal PCB layouts so it qu...
