Re: My Amiga 1200 Case Project(s)

Is that white A1200 case going to receive some attention to bring it up to the same ultra whiteness of the keycaps?

It currently looks like a fading celebrity that's had the tooth whitening treatment but not got round to the face-lift :D

Re: A cautionary tale !

I am certain the ALICE chip they sent is faulty as it is a pull from another board (Analogic Computers), so I will ask for a replacement, I need to get the first one running as it is like an old friend and has been with me through all the Terrible Fire years 8-) The Tale continues :D ;) The ...

the RGB output is too big an improvement over the composite picture for me to continue playing with the TF330 uninstalled though  )
The RGB output will still function with the 330 removed from the riser.

Re: A cautionary tale !

DB23 cables breaking internally is inevitable unfortunately, especially if you are plugging and unplugging them regularly to test cards or different Amigas. I've had a few go more than once but fortunately I haven't had any catastrophic damage (that I am aware of!) caused to anything else from the c...

Re: TF536 - Freeze on Disk (write) access?

Here is a capture while the system is locked up during zip compression of a large directory. Clock still running and IPL0 still doing something. IPL1 constant LOW. Any other signals useful here? 536_WRITE_FREEZE.png *Edit, Failure file was Addams Family/Disk. 1 Compression had been running for aroun...

Would you mind sharing this firmware with me? I'd like to try that too.
Sure, I'll send it across when built and running, I don't want to try this just yet until I've exhausted a few more avenues with the IDE setup first.

I have tested on so far have been using MUFastROM so I'm testing without it at the moment (no lockup yet but much slower).
I will try this now as well.
