Yes, $99 is what is sent for 1999. What I said is that it is bad solution, and it is the reason why it works not with year 2000 and above. It's not that I just read it in some book, I traced it with debugger. Then: "According to me, for year 1999 $19 (packed BCD) should be sent." - does it looks lik...

... Oh that seems to work now! I don't get why it would crash on the cube as doesn't draw outside of screen ? I know in first test I did with cube, it was to large and drew off the top of the screen, and it crashed.. I never thought much of it at the time.. but seems STOS doesn't like drawing outsi...

I looked it - BERRSKIP helps not, because STOS writes own vectors for bus error and other crash situations after start. Problem is exactly the usual one: overshot in screen draw code, so it tries to write above $400000 . It is in file WINDO102.BIN . I hacked it, and cube now exits without problem: W...

I gave you explanation why it works not in 1.04-1.62 . Because Rainbow TOS itself won't query the IKBD for a current time? I don't see this 0x50 being added/subtracted while communicating with IKBD. As I said - I was physically intercepting communication between ST and IKBD and values sent by/to IK...

Here is small proggie what will prevent bus error - most likely. Just run it before starting STOS editor.

Congratulations. You solved it without understanding how it works. That must be not bad thing.
