Not sure I follow... Whole idea of this booster is to avoid the PLCC socket for the CPU..
Sorry, I'm being a bit dumb, we've probably talked about this, I'm just a bit tired and confused at the minute....

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

Ouch, that CPU looks like a bit of an arse to solder. I guess since the pin dimensions fall inside a PLCC socket, that means a socket for the CPU is a no go?

Re: When is a ST not a ST anymore ?

Hmm, interesting thought. IMHO, if it looks like an ST, and operates like an ST, and has all the same connectors as an ST, then for me, it's an ST. Re: STFM case remake

I just had a look, and both the new A1200 and upcoming A500 cases were done on KickStarter. I'd heard the moulds had been found too, but the A1200 case kickstarter raised €156,310 and produced new moulds weighing in at around 6 tons as far as I can tell. It's not an inexpensive item, the cases are a...

Re: 2600 JR replacement switches

That being said, the new buttons worked perfectly after a small amount of tweaking. :D It was interesting to note, out of the 2 JRs I have, I happened to have the one with the white connector apart, it wasn't until I opened the second one, I found the black connector. Same part number and year, I ca...
