Re: TF536 and CDTV's cd drive
Can the flashy rom just set a flag for the rom decoder to disable itself after it has first run, then finally jump back to $F00000 as if it were never there ? (or do the same and jump to $F00002 if it is there)

Re: A TF534 build in 2021
I would try swapping the oscillator for a 40MHz one and see if that gets rid of the flashing. I seem to remember I had the same issue and it was either fixed by dropping back to 40MHz or adding heatsinks to the CPU and larger CPLD. Not had much luck with the CPLDs from China - some work, some "...

Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
So that resistor bodge is pulling the CCK CLK line up to Vcc? Presumably trying to improve rise time/drive strength? Would be interesting to see that signal on a scope with/without the resistor bodge. EDIT: so it's cheaper version of this fix which used a clock buffer chip: https://www.tsb.space/kno...

lol maybe Jens had the right approach all alongarkadiusz.makarenko wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 9:01 am ... Or little bit like car manufacturers, 3 tiers: basic - 50Mhz only, mid - up to 75Mhz, and premium all up to 100Mhz

Re: TF1260 80Mhz Limit
That's great news!
TF: Yay I got it running at x MHz!
Community: Yes but will it run at (x+2) MHz?
If it was me I'd limit it to 95 MHz and release a paid upgrade to 100

Re: TF1260 on ACA500
It's not really up to you to make the TF1260 work with the ACA500 - it's up to Jens to do that, since the ACA500 adding support for A1200 accelerators is a hack in itself.

Re: Amiga 3000 help needed - A3660
Just confirming because it wasn't mentioned above - did you remove the motherboard termination resistors when you added the active external terminator?

Re: Amiga 3000 help needed - A3660
I would remove the motherboard resistors and add an external active DB25 terminator. That's what I did on mine to fix my SCSI2SD issues.
SCSI2SD has active termination and mixing active and passive (mobo resistors) is not recommended.
This is the one I used: https://gglabs.us/node/2084
