Re: Brett's STE - Repair thread
Thanks @rubber_jonnie for the great writeup, I'm always quite disappointed by posts like "I fixed it, it was a missing wire!" without further details. The process is always great to observe, it gives me a lot of valuable information.

Re: Falcon FPU - who can help?
I'm wondering where this "devpac mania" started as this is maybe third post when somebody is testing FPU presence by Devpac. Devpac is an assembler. You can assemble FPU code on a non-FPU machine, you can assemble 68000 code on a 68030 machine etc. It's controlled by flags, not by hardware...

Re: Charges for incorrect addresses
What about making a two-step process? I.e. I order something from your shop, you get a notification, if it's OK, you click on payment request. If not, you click on generic "your address is incomplete" button and that would send an email to that person. That way emails can get lost but nobo...

Can't vouch for his present activities but I'd bought legitimate Rev. 6 CPUs from "funkward-tech" 3 years ago. Good price, no fakes.terriblefire wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 8:07 amAnd two he has made a purchase from our peddler of fake Chinese CPUS "funkward-tech" in the last 6 months.

Re: Atari Falcon Repair Help
I would say no, it is not.
Not sure what "overseas" means for you but you know that Exxos sells most of the missing IC (also RAM), right?
