Re: Future H5 buyers & assembly
But most people on atari-forum hate my guts anyway. So I think it was all kinda pointless. The guys who support me generally hang out on my forum. I think realistically everyone who would likely buy a board already has one by now. Those are very subjective conclusions, IMHO. I'm not aware of anyone...

"Remember me" works only for a few days?
Hi,
is it just me or the forum now forces users to log in way more often than it used to? I haven't measured it precisely but it seems like my login is remember for a few days at most and then I have to log in again (fortunately Chrome remembers my credentials but still).

Re: Atari TT: Optimal OSSC settings.
First make sure that your Medusa has the latest firmware. For me it works flawlessly with my TT.
EDIT: Wait, what ECL2VGA? Why would you use ECL2VGA *and* Medusa?

In that case you're much smarter and more patient than I am.

Re: 68060 sources
Ok, so someone redid Quake for integer-only math. I emphasise the word redid, because the original source code base is 100% hardware FPU code, both x86 and m68k. So that's one. Who's going to redo all the others? It's worth mentioning that Quake had one huge advantage in this: every asm function (fu...

Re: 68060 sources
That's a very narrow point of view. E.g. Quake would be impossible to do without FPU, same for many other games/demos. For normal applications one can always use 68000 versions. Creating a triple set of binaries (000/020+/ColdFire) is common practice at least in Atari world.

Re: Vortex AT-Once PC AT Emulator and STE Booster board
I can't advise you in this specific case but my educated guess would be that it wont work: a couple of years ago I tried ATonce 386SX Mega STE + MonSTer, which offers Dual IDE, ALT RAM and Flash TOS and it didn't work (it also sits on the CPU).

Re: OPLxLPT adapter for ST/TT/F030
Thanks! Indeed, a cart version would be best then. Another cool possibility (but I guess outside of the scope of your interest but still uber-cool from Atari perspective) would be to connect MT-32 Pi and whatever-OPL together -- the Pi would serve as sort of manager for both (I presume there isn't m...

Re: OPLxLPT adapter for ST/TT/F030
Impressive indeed. When you mention a toll, how much CPU time are are talking about? I'd like to eventually use it in ScummVM so the bigger the gap between OPL software emulation, the better. Btw is there any performance difference between the aforementioned OPL2LPT/OPL3LPT, OPL3 Express via USB and...
