Re: Wiki thoughts..

Dal is the one who runs the show, he would have backups of it all, and it could be hosted here, but as its tied into the forum software I doubt a simple move is possible.. and would need fixing.. I never use the wiki TBH.. to much outdated info on there and isn't maintained properly. IMHO any "good...

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

Thanks for that, you told me before about this info and I did check it, but I'm measuring the frame timing from VSYNC now, and I couldn't see precisely when that's generated from those tables. Yes I need to package the information better. This is the vertical state machine. All these checks are at ...

Re: AES 3.4 into Tos 2.06/3.06

Well there is _something_, but not released I think. Digging it out on the DHS bulletin board, which is where I saw it, is another matter ...

IIRC they were still working on video modes. But I could be completely wrong. Will ask in #atariscne ..

Re: Steem site vanished ?!

Was the only post steve did.. Though I don't think troed was slagging off steem there ?! I mean how many people and how many years have people been saying lame stuff anyway, why did basically nothing cause steve to ditch his entire site over it... Hatari emulates all four wakestates accurately. Ste...

Re: AES 3.4 into Tos 2.06/3.06

Well the source is available for TOS 2.06/3.06 to build binary exact replicas. Can't be that difficult to replace the AES then?

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

Wow, that's quite surprising actually. So, let me get this straight, if it wasn't for the stabiliser then the total number of LOADs on the line wouldn't be a multiple of 4, and I guess the length added by the stabiliser is the shortest available one that satisfies that requirement? It also switches...

Re: TOS mods for more free RAM

This is really really cool! Nice touch with .TOS, and the combined 1.04+TOS 2.06 desktop. Esp. people with flash tos should have one bank flashed with this.

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

Could you please post you scope shots in a thread maybe in member blog section :) Also, for those who are not keeping up (me mostly) are you saying during a normal video low output the shifter switches into high res.. Or is that just a trick demos do for some reason ? Currently I'm dumping traces t...

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

I know I say it a lot lately, but... Steem doesn't display a black bar at that point, surely a real Atari displays continuous low-res pixels through the entire scanline without a gap? Nope :) At cycle 444 when the switch to high resolution happens the real Shifter indeed displays black until the sw...

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

The Shifter switches to the mono output pin and not RGB when in mono mode, effectively displaying black during that time. The Shifter does have it's own copy of RES but it takes effect "immediately" (4 cycle aligned). You might be interested in some signal captures I'm doing at the moment: http://at...
