Hi exxos,

I bought one of your RTC cartdriges a few months ago, but life got in the way and only now I was able to test it.

Just wanted to let you know that everything works perfect. Thank you very much!

Hi all, sorry to slightly change subject here... I'm thinking on building an DS1315 based RTC solution as shown in https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/ ... lation.pdf

I have an STE so I guess the best option is #2 (CEI/CEO passthrough) but I'm thinking on connecting a NETUSBEE on the cartridge port so I'm wondering if anyone have tried such combination and how it went. Is this setup compatible?

Thanks in advance,

Andres.

The RTC shouldn't stop other devices from working as its pass through. Though with NETUSBEE being somewhat flakey at the best of times.. Who knows..

I have finally built my own RTC board based on the chip DS1315 and connected (soldered) to the internal cartridge port on my STE.
I have to report that if the NETUSBEE cartridge is not plugged-in then the CEI/CEO passthrough is not needed, but when the cartridge is connected the RTC clock stops working (the NETUSBEE works without issues).

So, in that case, the only option is to use the CEI/CEO passthrough (snipping pin 31 on the cartridge port board connector) and then everything works flawlessly.

Thanks!

Good to know the original intent to use the CEI/CEO pins in this way works, as I had no means to properly test it, thank you.
