The avalanche has started. It's too late for the pebbles to vote. (Or in this case, birdseed.)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Almost all is done. I have to program a 27C4096 and get some connectors for power. I have to double check some jumpers. I have some PLCC MC68000 on order but I can boot it with the DIP 68k for now. It took longer to find all the parts then actual soldering it. Oh, need a battery later on as well.

Is that a 3D printed reset switch cap @DoG?

I looks really good in black.

Nope. I bought reset switch and cap from RS Components. But 3D printed would probably be cheaper.

So... It's been awhile since I built it. Well, it never started the first time I booted it. Black screen. No signal to monitor. Gotek screen shined though. Reset did nothing but seemed working when measured. I didn't have the time to fix it then. I had a a couple of ocular inspection on it from time to time. But I couldn't find anything obvious faulty with it.

It turned out that nothing was actually wrong with the board.

The recapped PSU I have been using (for over 1,5 years) put out 5.5V and that is not fine for the H5. Well I have used that PSU for a C070859 yesterday and that worked fine. I got it started with a MeanWell PSU I have been using for my Mega and the H5 sprung to life. So a multimeter hooked up to the connector and then screwed down to around 5V made it worked like it should. I'm so glad I didn't start doing a lot of other stuff on the board to get it working.

Odd.. But yeah 5.5V is a bit high anyway. Is your 70859 board using 2.2K bus resistors or the original ones ?
