Trying to write splitted EmuTOS

Post by zChris »

Hello,

I have this EPROM https://www.mouser.se/ProductDetail/STM ... 0vIqBZ7g== , and it has 512kb memory from what i can read.

I have used ROMSPLIT.PRG to splut EmuTOS1.0.1 192 to two files, they became 128kb big each. But when i try to write it to the roms my tool complains that the files are too big?

This chip. Is it actually 8 banks with 64kb in each? Not a continously memory of 512? What do you think?

Yes, but 512 kBits = 64 kBytes.

You have a 64kB eprom, for 192kB TOS you need two 27C010 eproms and and the 27C010 do not fit in a Atari ST machine. Or use 6 x 27C256 eproms

I got adapter boards and I think I got a pair of PCB left over for 27C010.

I'll PM you.

Yep,I always use 6x27C256, path of least resistance IMHO.
