DaveC's H5 C1 Build
DaveC's H5 C1 Build
Guess I can claim to have made a start even if it's only soldering the TOS jumper pins in place. Hoping the rest of the bits I need to solder on turn up today
Re: DaveC's H5 C1 Build
Good place to start @DaveC
I managed to source a few of the essential missing components last night...but didn't get to solder anything

Re: DaveC's H5 C1 Build
Thankfully everything did turn up today.
Looks just about ready to give a test run!

Excellent!
Don't forget the obligatory Gembench picture!

Re: DaveC's H5 C1 Build
@DaveC don't forget the jumper on the right 3.3v socket and the one on the clock chip.
Other than that, hopefully good to go

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: DaveC's H5 C1 Build
@PhilC Do those need to be added to the BoM post for the H5C1?
Realised I don't have a spare 13 pin monitor socket, so will have to try and salvage one...but have pretty much all the other essential parts...
Re: DaveC's H5 C1 Build
@JezC it depends on what you want to fit. I fitted a ds1315 clock chip, oscillator etc and will put jumpers on the flashy clock socket but just temporarily I've bridged the middle two with solder.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Well done. Fun but easy wasn't it
