So there is one final aspect to FlashFloppy I wanted to cover, and it's probably the easiest part, which is upgrading FlashFloppy once you've installed it.
It's really quite simple. Download the latest update files from here:https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy/wiki/Downloads
Copy the UPD file to the root of your USB stick, insert into the Gotek and power it on with both selector buttons pressed.
When you get a message telling you you're in flash mode, release both buttons. Hey presto you will get the very latest update flashed to the Gotek.
If you get any errors, refer to the site linked above, which has a full list of error codes.
I'll hopefully get some pictures added to show the Gotek doing the upgrade.
