My new toy :)

So anyone any ideas how to enable the cache and CPU speed ? going by GB6 its benchmarking as a regular STE...

mine is in such a bad shape as the case was damaged in shipping.
For the cache and CPU .. yes.. there is a register :)
Or use the Atari CPX.

"MSTE_FST.PRG" turns cache on and 16MHz CPU. Put it into AUTO folder, or run it from the desktop.
"MSTE_SLW.PRG" applies 8MHz to the CPU and turns cache off.

Just to mention that Mega STE has some other extras: VME bus, Apple Talk type LAN port (if I remember correct) . ACSI-SCSI adapter - what is not from fastest ones . HD floppy support - but not HD drive in all by factory .

Also option to install FPU on the board. And we know how much exxos loves FPUs!
