That's really impressive! I'm very curious about the dual extruder stuff. Obviously that's not the first thing to try out.

I printed the test object with PLA on the left, now printing a cube on the right with ABS :)

I think the main use for a dual head is I can print water dissolvable filament supports on one head, and PLA on the other for example :)

I think a small design problem is the head only has the cooling fan on the left, not the right , I did know about that before I bought it.. probably a mod kit for it, but not really a issue I guess as mostly be using the left head anyway.

I always thought that dual extruder meant you could print one object using two different filaments (say two different colours or both an opaque and a translucent filament). But the way you put it sounds really practical. It would've saved me a lot of spool swapping.

You can print 2 colours at the same time yes. Wasn't to important for me though :)

I am trying 2 colour print...Though I think is failing miserably..

I think what the problem is, when it prints on one head and changes to the other, the filament is still leaking out of the other head, so it ends up with stringy bits being splattered all over the place....

I will leave it running and see what happens as it goes on, currently is only at 8%
