Do fish have nationalities?

Post by DrF » Wed Mar 06, 2019 10:36 am

Lying in bed this thought crossed my mind... do fish have nationalities? or other things that swim about in the sea?

Also do they think we are in the sea and there on the land?

I think birds do because some are named like "African Fish Eagle" why does that even have fish in its name anyhow?

Hard questions to answer, I know.

AFAIK, they cross borders willy nilly without passports.

Of course they do. Just think about the Australian Reef Shark, Siamese Fighting Fish, African Lungfish or the French Angelfish.

Some are even political like the Red Snapper.

Very interesting, I will Wikipedia this when I stop the printers exploding

What will happen to the European Eel if the EU collapses?
Will they rename it then?
Since Europe is a continent and predates the European Union I think he might be ok

No, they don't care for borders and passports at all, in fact I think they started the whole thing because nobody was watching and they continued to get away with it.

If and when Brexit happens, will there then be a hard border for fish?

Just saying...
A kludge is a workaround or quick-and-dirty solution that is clumsy, inelegant, inefficient, difficult to extend and hard to maintain.

My lack of focus:
