Also, here is Shonen the day he came in my life, straight to the toys!

Small update on Shonen and one of his brothers, so what do you think? Which is Shonen, which is bébé, Shonen's brother?
Sadly we are no longer in good terms with the third brother's furrever family, so i don't have any photo of him grown up.

Bailey thought the first pic was Shonen :)

But in typical cat fashion, he's now asleep......

Thank you, we do love our Bailey. It's hard to believe that he nearly lost his tail a couple of years back, we were dog sitting for a friend and the dog bit his tail.

Now his tail is like nothing ever happened :)

I love Shonen's markings, a beautiful colour :)

But sometimes he's not easy to take in photo.
Had to try twice today, he decided to yawn while looking at me.
A few days ago he ran away.

Does your cam have a "pet" setting ? It takes very fast shots so chances are you can get one in focus on like 100 shots ;)

I only have a 8GB card on this camera, so i try to avoid this, and i actually had to take only two photos to have a good one.
Besides it's only a panasonic lumix lz-20, a very cheap bridge for this brand.
Edit, no it has no mode "pet".

I don't have a camera so to speak, I just use my mobile phone, and it doesn't require much in the way of setting up, and it's quite good in low light.

There's no pet setting to speak of, but I do have a 'burst' mode though, as you're very much aware of, they often don't want to sit still, so it takes a series of pics one after the other, and usually one comes out nice.

That being said, our pets do let you take pics, and will sometimes pose if they're in the mood :)

Mostly though, they do realise there's a camera present, and do something to mess it up!!
