Water cooler gets a upgrade!

Post by exxos » Fri Sep 22, 2017 8:52 pm

So brought a water cooler and after day 1 had to take it to bits. Girlfriend being a girl didn't understand the "reason" for doing it...

So added a pot to fiddle the temp sensor on the tank. It was cutting off at 15C, so wanted to tweak the sensor a bit to fool it into thinking the water was hotter than it was so it would cool it down some more.

If you are looking for a good instant read food thermometer, the best ones I know of are made in the UK:

https://thermapen.co.uk/

You can find these often on ebay directly from the manufacturer but a lot cheaper. Sometimes because the colours did not sell, sometimes used and refurbished ones.

Ah, that looks really good
It's just when you see a Chinese made device claiming the same things for a huge differance in price you start to wonder who's lying :p

Thanks :)
