Has anyone else bought anything from Centuriontech.eu?

I ordered a Goex on the 23rd Sept. and it took over a week and a half to get a "processing" message and nearly a week later a dispatched message.

Does everyone else have this sort of slow service?

Since I ordered that I've designed a PCB, sent it to PCBway, they've had a week's holiday, made them, sent them and they've been delivered... and still no Goex.

Yes, it takes a while. I suspect most are made when ordered.

Still, just like AmigaKit, they take the money at order time rather than shipping, which is when the distance selling directive says it must be.

One order took two month, but I think that one item was pre order or something. He always deliver though.

I think the same discussion has popped up before a few times.. The general consensus is "stuff gets there in the end" kinda thing.

Remember that retro isn't anybody's full time job. We should be extremely happy there are a non-zero amount of people going out of their way to spend time and money creating awesome products for us all to enjoy.

I did not discover centuriontech until a few months ago but I am a big fan. Their goex drive is excellent. I expect to be ordering again soon as they have laser-cut back plates for the A1200.

Couldn’t say shipping was fast or slow, seemed about normal for something coming from Europe to Australia.

My experience with centuriontech is very good. High quality stuff, Pavel always delivers, is very diligent and responsive.

I've heard they are reliable - get there in the end type of thing.

I am waiting for something for 2 weeks since it was marked shipped. I will let you know when it arrives!

Have to say I am a really big fan of the Goex. Going to replace all my floppy drives with them eventually.
