DualTOS to get TOS206 is a good choice to do for the STE...

4MB RAM is also good as its easy to do.

Would also suggest a HC CPU if you plan to use hard drives..

Also a PSU re-cap is a must.. (depends what PSU you have as I only list 2 type for the ST series)

Thanks for the welcome exxos.
Waiting for my scart lead to turn up tomorrow so I can give the machine a good going over then I am getting that dual Tos first, then maybe the HC Cpu next month. Actually I will just forward my paycheques.

Does the dual tos kit come complete or will I need to purchase the tos chip separately

It depends which kit you get, some are assembled, some now, some with chips, some either.. so you will have to look though and decide which one you want to go for...

If your not good at soldering, get the assembled one, ROM sold separately.

Very good advice! I happen to have done exactly those upgrades to my STE lately.

By the way, I'd definitely add a STE Video Fix to the list above (though it's not for sale in Exxos' shop, only two very cheap generic parts required): https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/ ... /index.htm
