Greetings from Springfield, Missouri.

I'm a hardware enthusiast like the rest of you with mostly Amiga, a few Atari 8-bit, Commodore and STE/STFM machines. I come here as a result of years' of curiosity of exxos work with the ST, and the recent move here by Stephen Leary with the TF. I've built just about every variation he's produced as well as created my own circuit boards to ROM Amiga 1000 kickarts (to basically use Stephen's accelerators!)

When I was growing up with my C64, a friend of mine purchased an Atari 520STM with the single sided floppy abomination (he later bought a second DD variant!) and I was completely blown away. We spent countless hours playing the ST version of Alternate Reality and an Epyx wrestling game, as well as several, far superior conversions of games over my 64. The system really captured my imagination at the time.

Although we both eventually moved on to Amigas (the sound capabilities did it - damn you Atari!), I have fond memories that will forever endear the ST series to me. Unfortunately for us, neither system was ever really popular in the United States.. but we definitely did exist.
