Hi Guys,
A looooonnnngg time ago I started using computers as a young kid, these were the most prominent one's:
C64 Breadbin
C128D
Amiga 500
Amiga 1200
And of course they sometimes broke down or needed an odd switch or 4 for some reason, and I was always raised to repair stuff myself so I did the work myself.
After some time all the other kids came to me for repairs and mods and then the grownups too.
Then the PC happened…and except for some early Xbox1/360 hacking/repairing nothing much else
3 months ago a friend of mine asked if I would repair his C64c because it didn't work and the magic smoke escaped, and of course I found the dreaded burned voltage regulator outputting 12V instead of 5V.
And the the bug hit, after repairing his C64c I wanted one for myself, so I went to a merchaint and bought 20 defective motherboards and repaired them all as if I never left.
But now I did that I need a new challenge, so I bought an Amiga 500 and after repairing that I wanted to build a quick and dirty turbo/memory expansion, only to find the amazing TerribleFire turbo boards.
That's where I am now.
If I can help in any way please ask!
