Atari and Amiga Noob

Hi everyone, I'm Dave and I have an Atari / Amiga problem.... yes I have far too many
Numerous machines at this address... mostly representative of my computer owning history... Atari 400, 800, 800XL and 130XE then onto Amiga 500, 2000, 1200 & 600 along with a smattering of other marques... Oric Atmos, BBC B, Jaguar & Vectrex
Just finished building a TF534 for an Amiga 500 and after much head scratching it's finally working! Took a fair bit of diagnostic work but finally traced my numerous random faults to a stray bit of something just underneath one of the SRAMs partly shorting two pins. This highlights a few things for me... I really need an ultrasonic cleaning tank for doing any SMT work and as Stephen Leary keeps mentioning in his videos... a microscope is essential!! Finally found the issue using a macro add-on lens for a phone....
Anyway looking forward to building more projects like this! Huge thanks to Mr Leary for all his hard work on these terrific projects
