its been a while since I owned an st and now I have an stfm which is faulty and im trying to bring back to life.

Plus the rest, totalling around 50 machines including a QL, 3x BBC Model B, Electron, Spectrums, ZX81 etc...

Feel free to search through the forums for lots of tips for bringing your machine back to life. As you can imagine there may have been someone with similar issues in the past where you can glean valuable information from. Check out the hardware tips and tricks forum as well for many pieces of valuable information. Ask if in doubt.

finaly got all the bits for serial and looks like its hi set on the 512k ram ic 2, just need to find which is ic 2 now

Im not new to the retro world, i have 2 c64's, amiga 500, bbc b, amstrad pcw, oric 1 and used to have my 1982 spectrum till a few months ago.
waiting for my brother to bring me an STE and awaiting the conformation of a c128d as i enjoy repairing and bringing them back to life to live on for many more years to come.
