Well, it's not looking good, the ram I added is removed and its still dead.

Few more things to try, but it may become another donor board ☹️
Collector of many retro things!
800XL and 65XE both with Ultimate1MB,VBXL/XE & PokeyMax, SIDE3, SDrive Max, 2x 1010 cassette, 2x 1050 one with Happy mod, 3x 2600 Jr, 7800 and Lynx II
Approx 20 STs, including a 520 STM, 520 STFMs, 3x Mega ST, MSTE & 2x 32 Mhz boosted STEs
Plus the rest, totalling around 50 machines including a QL, 3x BBC Model B, Electron, Spectrums, ZX81 etc...

Check out the 74ls373 and 244s. I've had a few of those die lately

Thanks Phil, I've found out it has a dead GLUE for starters, but if I'm totally truthful I'm not too broken up over it, and I've decided that it's going to be my Mongrel donor.

Oddly, I seem to have about 5 spare MMUs,which is annoying, so another trip to feed Harry.

It has always been a bit ropey, and TBH I still want to gey my ALPHA board running, so using it as a donor does make a lot of sense and will save some money.

It does only leave me with one testing board, but I can live with that.
