Phils thoughts for the day.

Electrolytic capacitors will explode when exposed to too much heat.

Haven't posted on my blog for a bit as I've not really had more than 30 mind here, 5 mins there to do stuff.

That and the wife has decided that we need to crack on with the garden makeover finally. (Full days work and a few more hours in the garden every day.)

So I have a couple of special projects to do which I will post more of that when we get there.

So ive managed to build a few TF536 boards up and whilst testing the 68030 works great but I've been struggling to get the IDE to work.

Well today I got myself an ultrasonic cleaner and after a few mins in the cleaner its been obvious why I've struggled.

Its great having a microscope to check for bridges but hidden underneath what I thought was a small bit of flux was a great big (well actually very small) solder Bridge.

So tomorrow whilst carrying out testing for one of my special projects I shall rework the three TF536 and see if the IDE works.

Can't believe it took me so long to get an ultrasonic cleaner!
