I measured the case posts and they are just under 7mm.. So I made in a holds of these two new PSU posts 7mm internal, and 9mm external. I made the holes larger in the framework so it will fit the now 9mm dia. I also made the bottom 1mm of the new posts 3mm internal.

So basically the case posts poke through the psu support posts at the rear now. The case will hold the support solid to the bottom of the case as done originally. The only thing I cannot really work out is where the post pushes into the recess on the frame, there's nothing actually holding the post unless it is actually glued into place...

Not sure if I explained this very well, but I know what I mean in my head

Looky what I got professionally made...

These won't be cheap unfortunately , the order was just shy of £400 :( Though they are made with proper crimping machines by a proper cable company, not cheaper "self crimping" where wires fall out of the crimps and other chaos.

Oooh, you found some!

Will they be going in your shop or reserved for your own PSUs?

They will be going in my shop shortly. They are intended for my own PSU's (bit shorter than the originals).

I have a Meanwell replacement PSU that I need a lead for, so the length isn't that important to me. I will look out for them in the shop :)

The parts I ordered from your store yesterday arrived at lunchtime today, that's good service :)

Dawn does all the orders. She posts about 2pm most days.

Dawn does an excellent job, please tell her so!

I see the cables, will probably wait now until Tuesday as that's payday :)

Damn, some IDE interfaces still there, I may have to bag one of those too!

Yeah, not many takers to help with that project :( Though I think between us all, we have had a good spread of stuff tested anyway.

I am hoping that there's a board still available when we get our bonus (usually in the July pay packet). :coffee:
No chance of getting all the bits I need before then though.

I'm sure they will still be one by then. Not exactly hot sellers :)
