So I had a bunch of TS5V330 left from making ubeswitches. These work like 4p2t switches and can handle up to 200MHz frequencies. Pretty much ideal for VGA switching, if they had had another line.. So I added another one and realized that I could switch audio as well, these have a max resistance of 6 ohms so virtually no impact on audio.
From the ubeswitch project I also had a bunch of ATTiny85s, that could be used for sensing activity and handling the button. My first design had a latching circuit made out of transistors but @kludge suggested auto switching as well.
So. Here it is. With BTOR1 RCAs from ubeswitch mk4.
Had some components laying around. Why not make a VGAudio switch?

Just because a lot of people agree on something, doesn't make it a fact. ~exxos ~
People should find solutions to problems, not find problems with solutions.
