The constant disappointment that is life...

Post by rubber_jonnie »

Well, as some of you know one of my other hobbies is shooting air rifles. As I was low on ammo and my usual source was closed, I thought I'd try mail order from a place that seems to have a reasonable rep.

As our main guns are .177 calibre, I ordered 1000 pellets since there was a great special offer on, and 500 for the guns we use less, which are .22 calibre.

Package arrived today and after suitable disinfection I opened the pack to receive a large dose of disappointment:

Compare the numbers on the order to the numbers on the packs. All told I'm short 750 .177 pellets and 325 .22 pellets.

Wish people could get their acts together, how hard can it be!!

Just because a lot of people agree on something, doesn't make it a fact. ~exxos ~

Yeah, quite. To add to my disappointment, my 5l of IPA never arrived either, luckily I have a litre of it left, and at least I got a refund from PayPal. :(

Crikey, £20 on pellets was pretty much all I ever spent as a teenager.

But yeah, it's becoming a theme with me where sellers are messing up quite simple orders. It's almost as if they employ morons to order pick.

Yeah, probably about all I spent too!

Orders do sometimes get messed up, it happens where people are involved, but to muck it up so bad is quite a feat!
